Message from the Chair
Monday 27 February 2017
AORA Chairman, Paul Coffey this morning said he was disappointed that the EO (Peter McLean) had decided to resign and move on. Peter finished up on the 24th February to pursue an opportunity in an education program.
Paul said “Peter made a significant contribution to building the AORA State divisions and provided project management support as well as engaging with the state and federal governments. He also worked with the regulators in each state and our sponsors and I am sure we will all miss Peter and wish him well.”
“I expect that the EO’s role in each state will be taken up by the State Executive Committees, at least in the short term and the board will consider the need to engage an experienced senior executive to finalise our national strategy and improve our communications and national image.”
