John has lead AORA since in June 2022. Prior to joining AORA, John had worked extensively in senior roles within the farming/primary production sectors including dairy, beef, fodder and most recently as CEO for the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association. John has also worked within the IT industry and the fast-moving-consumer-goods (FMCG) sector.

Alex has been with AORA since 2019, bringing with her two decades of experience in community engagement, events and marketing in the not for profit and association sector. Alex has spent 15 years working in the environmental sector including sustainable water management, waste management and litter prevention. Alex is also an Independent Board Member with the Fleurieu Regional Waste Authority.

Alex has Bachelors Degrees in Media and Communications, Marine Biology and Environmental Biology.

Lisa joined AORA as NSW Coordinator in October 2021, following a decade working within the resource recovery and renewables sector in tenders and communications roles for SITA, Jacobs and SUEZ.   Prior to joining the sector, she worked in radio broadcasting, specialising in generating branded content.
 
As NSW Coordinator for AORA, Lisa works closely with the NSW membership and consultative committee to facilitate monthly member meetings and events and generate advocacy responses and submissions as required.

Lisa holds tertiary qualifications in Media (writing) and Law.

Tehani has worked in various events, marketing and policy roles for different organisations including member-based associations, nonprofits as well as big businesses and those in the private sector. She enjoys the professional fulfilment of working for associations and helping members create sustainable improvements to the industries and sectors they work in.
